What Happens When You Google Hot Dog

I like to post pictures with my blog entries as anyone can probably tell. I am an extremely visual person. In my previous post, I really wanted to post a picture of a hot dog, but I didn't find one that fit my mood tonight. However, I did find these, which kinda creep me out.

That top one... brrr. It reminds me of a movie on one of the A/V Club DVDs where this woman takes a bunch of acid, then sees her hot dog start to talk to her. And then she throws it down to the sidewalk and stomps on it. I think I'm remembering that movie right -- or else it's something that actually happened to me, and I'm suppressing the memory. Hope not. Anyway... brrr.

A/V Geeks, not A/V Club. Sorry.

I know that film very well. It is one of my favorites. Everyone should see this film. You can purchase it here.

Woot!

That sounds pretty scary and freaky, Jerry. I guess the lesson of that film is not to take a bunch of acid, but to use the LSD, as all things, in moderation.

Right?

My friend Jenny offered to buy me a Costco hot dog today, but I declined, seeing how the month is pretty much over.

NO!!!! NATIONAL HOT DOG MONTH IS NOT YET OVER!!!! EAT THAT HOT DOG! Someone told me (perhaps somewhere here on the blog) that the best hot dog is from the hot dog stand outside of the Lowe's Hardware in Chapel Hill. I might have to go seein' how it's July 31st and all.

I used to work in the building where Squeaky had his hot dog cart. Man, that guy knew his hot dogs. I read an article that said he is now working at the Rat, but hopes to get back in to the street vendor business sometime soon. Go Squeaky!!

When I worked at Merge, we would always make hot dog runs over to NCNB Plaza to get Squeaky dogs. He had the best vegetarian dogs I've ever eaten.
