It wasn't like that at all. It was a great show. He seemed really happy with it. We chatted about my mix tape and laughed about NC and then shot the photo.
It was a great show. I wish he was going to be in Portland.

I'm pleased you had a nice chat with him. I'm been dissapointed twice in meeting musicians whose music I really liked -- only to find that in person, their personality was... o.k.

Hawley was really nice. He had a cough and the sound was messed up in the store, but after the show, he seemed to be pretty happy.
I didn't get an autograph, but this picture is pretty swell.
He's tall, huh?
He didn't seem that tall... probably 6'2" or so.
